Placing a Countdown Clock on Facebookby Melly Parker
When you're waiting for an event, minutes can pass like hours. Facebook can help you kill time before the big day; you can also chart the days and hours until your event happens. In addition, countdown clocks can help keep other people aware of an event – if you're trying to get your friends excited about a party or trip, a countdown clock is the answer. While Facebook doesn't have a native countdown clock for you to install, plenty of third-party developers have created countdown apps that integrate into your profile.

- check My Countdown App also allows you to mark an event as repeating, so after the event occurs a new countdown will start for the same event the next year.
