How Do You Find Out How Many Followers You Have on Tumblr? (4 Steps)
By Andrea Ruiz
Tumblr's popular blogging platform doubles as a social network by letting you follow and interact with blogs you enjoy, and allows other Tumblr users to do the same with your blog. The system sends you an email notification each time another user follows your blog, but if you'd like to see the total number of followers you have, or see a list of links to your Tumblr followers, you can quickly find this information on your dashboard.
Step 1
Visit the Tumblr home page and log in to your Tumblr account.
Step 2
Click the down arrow next to your main blog's name in the upper right corner of the right menu. A drop-down menu appears listing all of your Tumblr blogs, if you have more than one.
Step 3
Select the blog for which you'd like to see the follower count. If you only have one blog associated with your Tumblr account, Tumblr displays the statistics for the blog by default.
Step 4
Locate the "Followers" tab in the right menu of your Tumblr dashboard. The number displayed in the tab is the number of followers the blog has.
Tips
- Click the "Followers" tab to see links to the Tumblr accounts of the followers of your blog. You can follow any of them back by clicking the blue "Follow" button to the right of each name.
- You can also block any blog following you by clicking the "Ignore" link beneath the blog's name in your followers list. This blocks that Tumblr user from contacting you. You will also not see his blogs or comments in any notes on any Tumblr post, and he won't be able to see your posts while logged in, either.
- If you're using an Android or iPhone app to view your Tumblr account, tap the "Settings" button, which is usually a small graphic of two silhouettes and a lightning bolt, then tap the name of the blog for which you'd like to see your follower count. The number in the "Followers" tab is the number of followers that blog has. Tap the tab to see a complete list of your followers.
