Operation Instructions for a 2 Gigabyte Sylvania Compact MP3 Player

The Sylvania MP3 player is offered in two capacities: 1 gigabyte and 2 GB. Both MP3 players come with earphones and a connecting USB cable for downloading music. This MP3 player can play MP1, MP2, MP3 and WMA music file formats. It also comes with specific software for transferring music files to the MP3 player and an adapter for charging the battery. The LED light 1 is off when the battery is fully charged.

Plug the earphones into the earphone jack. Switch the side ON/OFF button to the ON position. The MP3 player plays automatically.

Press the Forward and Backward buttons to select the music. Press the +/- button to turn the volume up or down.

Press the PLAY button quickly to pause. Press and hold down the PLAY button to turn the MP3 player off.

Download new music to the MP3 player. Plug the USB cable that came with the player into the USB port on the player. Plug the other end into a USB port on your computer. The computer recognizes the player.

Open the Sylvania music software that came with the MP3 player. Open the music folder with your music files. Click on a music file and drag it to the Sylvania software, then release the mouse button. The music file copies to the Sylvania MP3 player.

Close the Sylvania music software when you are finished uploading music. Click the Sylvania MP3 player icon in the system tray to close. Disconnect the USB cable from the computer and the MP3 player.
