How to Open Files with Extension PPP (4 Steps)
By Alexis Lawrence
Files with the PPP extension are PagePlus Publication files. These files are created with Serif’s PagePlus desktop publishing software and can contain text, charts, and images. While both Microsoft Word and OpenOffice files can be opened in PagePlus, PagePlus PPP files cannot be opened in any other desktop publishing program. To open files with the PPP extension, you must have the Serif PagePlus software installed in your computer.
Download the PagePlus software from the Serif website. A pro version of PagePlus is available for a fee, but the standard version of the program is free and allows users to open and read PPP files.
Install the PagePlus program on your computer. To install PagePlus, navigate to the “Download” folder on your computer’s “C:” drive and double-click the PagePlus icon. This will launch the setup. Follow the screens through the setup process to install the program on your system.
Open PagePlus. If you chose not to create a desktop shortcut during the setup process, you will need to access the PagePlus software through the “Start” menu.
Go to the “File” menu and select the “Open” option from the list of actions. When the browse window opens, navigate to the folder where the PPP file is saved on your hard drive and click the “Open” button. When opened, you can edit the file.
