How to Only Print a Certain Section of Something on Facebookby Todd Bowerman
If you want to print something you see on Facebook but don't want to print advertisements or other on-page content, you'll need a more specific method for helping your computer determine what to print. Printing only a small section of the site lets you get the material you need without wasting printer ink or paper. Printing out specific elements of your Facebook page is an excellent way to keep a record of customer complaints or compliments, and to create physical evidence of successes and accomplishments.
Log in to your Facebook account and find the section you wish to print.
Select the section by clicking your left mouse button and dragging the pointer over it. Release to select.
Right-click the selection and click “Print.” This option is available in both Internet Explorer and Chrome. Firefox users need to click the “Firefox” tab, select “Print” and click the “Selection” radial button.
Click “Print” to print the selection. Firefox users should click “OK.”
- You can select both images and text -- everything you select will end up on the printed page.
