How to Merge a Calendar on an iPhone With a Computer
By Calum Page
An iPhone is great if you want to add appointments and events to your calendar on the move, but if you need them on your computer, or need to add events to your iPhone from your computer, you will need to merge your calendars. This is an easy process that takes a matter of seconds and you can do it as regularly as you need to.
Step 1
Open iTunes on your PC, and plug your iPhone into a USB port on your computer.
Step 2
Choose your iPhone from the "Devices" list in the left side panel in iTunes.
Step 3
Click "Info" at the top of the main iTunes window.
Step 4
Click the "Sync calendars with" checkbox in the "Calendars" section, and choose your calendar software from the dropdown list. All calendar applications installed on your computer are displayed in this list. If you are using a Mac, the "Sync calendars with" option is replaced by a "Sync iCal calendars" option, without a dropdown list.
Step 5
Choose either "All calendars" or "Selected calendars" by clicking the appropriate radio button. If you choose "Selected calendars," use the checkboxes to select which calendars you want to merge with your PC.
Step 6
Click the "Apply" button in the bottom right corner of the iTunes window to sync and merge your calendars. All your events will now appear in both your iPhone and PC calendars.
