How to Make an iPad Calendar Bigger
By Julius Vandersteen
When you are looking at entries in the native Calendar app on your iPad, the text might be too small for you to comfortably read. Unfortunately, changing the font size in the “Mail, Contacts, Calendar” section of the device’s preferences settings will not enlarge your Calendar items. Instead, you need to change the iPad’s Accessibility settings to make your Calendar entries appear bigger.
Press the “Home” button on the iPad.
Tap “Settings,” then tap “General” and select “Accessibility.”
Tap “Large Text” and choose an option such as “40pt Text” or “56pt Text.”
Press the “Home” button, and then tap the “Calendar” icon to launch the Calendar app using the new settings.
- Selecting large text in the Accessibility settings will make text appear larger in your Contacts, Mail and Notes apps as well as in the Calendar.
- Information in this article applies to iPads running iOS version 6. It may vary slightly or significantly with other versions or products.
