How to Make a Heart on Facebook
By Brandy Alexander
Facebook provides areas, such as the "News Feed," where you and your friends post messages and stay connected. Besides your note, you also have the ability to add small symbols like hearts to these messages. Best of all, you do not need to make these pictures with a graphics program and upload them to your account. Instead, use a HyperText Markup Language (HTML) symbol to immediately make the heart images on Facebook, as you prefer.
Log in to your Facebook account.
Navigate to the area where you want to make your heart. For example, click the "Home" link on the right to add your symbol to the "News Feed," or click the "Profile" link to access your personal page and add the image to your "Wall."
Place your cursor in the provided text box and type the following:
Enter this code without any spaces in between the characters.
Click the "Share" button. Your symbol now appears as a dark, solid heart inside the post message.
