How to Make a DVD43 64-Bit Compatible (6 Steps)
By Doug Vintage
DVD43 is a free Windows application that is used to decrypt the video files on a DVD in real time. The standard version of DVD43 is only compatible with 32-bit versions of Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows 2000. An official plug-in is available that is compatible with both 32- and 64-bit versions of the same operating systems. The plug-in version of DVD43 is not a stand-alone application and will only work in conjunction with other DVD-decryption applications.
Step 1
Download the DVD43 64-Bit plug-in from the Brothersoft website. Save the executable file to your desktop for easy access.
Step 2
Double-click on the "DVD43_Plugin_Setup.exe" file to launch the installation wizard.
Step 3
Click "Next" on the main DVD43 installation window to display the "Change Log" screen.
Step 4
Click "Next" to access the "Completing Setup Wizard" screen. Click the "Finish" button to complete the plug-in installation.
Step 5
Delete the "DVD43_Plugin_Setup.exe" file from your computer's desktop.
Step 6
Access the DVD43 64-Bit plug-in from the Plugins menu of your preferred DVD decryption software.
