By Jason Taetsch
You can connect the Canon MP210 printer so you can utilize the functions of the printer from any computer on your network. Canon MP210 printer's do not feature built-in wireless cards, however you can still hook up the device to your router to free the printer from the restrictions of wired networks. Use the USB port on your router or access point to include the device in your wireless area network in your home or office.
Step 1
Turn off your router.
Step 2
Plug the USB cable into the USB port on the rear of the printer and insert the other end into the USB port on your router or access point.
Step 3
Turn on your router to establish a connection to the printer.
Step 4
Click the "Start" button and click the "Devices and Printers" option. Click "Add A Printer" and click "Add a Network, Wireless or Bluetooth Printer" in the window that appears. Your computer will search for networked devices.
Step 5
Click the "Canon MP210" option and click "Next." Click the "Install Driver" option in the prompt that appears to install the necessary software to send commands to the printer.
