How to Install TrayApp.msi

by Todd Lawrence

TrayApp.msi is a file associated with software from Hewlett-Packard (HP) Photosmart Digital Imaging. If you are getting a TrayApp.msi error message when you start up your computer, it is most likely that the file is missing and needs to be reinstalled.

Place the HP Photosmart Digital Imaging installation disc into the CD drive.

Open "My Computer" and click the CD drive to start the installation software.

Click "Install" and follow the instructions. This process will reinstall the missing TrayApp.msi.

Restart your computer to make sure the error message no longer appears and the software is working properly.
