How to Install Proview LCD Monitor Drivers
By Charles Poole
Proview LCD monitors are used with desktop computers or laptops for an external display. When you don't have the current monitor driver installed on your computer, the monitor will either not work or give you a limited amount of resolution. Updating your Proview monitor drivers is not very hard once you have the right driver software.
Go to the back of your computer and look for the input labeled "VGA" from the back panel of your desktop tower.
Plug one end of the VGA cable that came with your Proview monitor into the VGA port on the back of the computer and then tighten the knobs on the cable until it is secure.
Plug the other end of the VGA cable into the back of the Proview monitor and then tighten the knobs to keep it in place. Plug the power cable into the back of the monitor and then plug it into the wall outlet.
Turn the Proview monitor on and then turn your computer on. Wait for the computer to boot up.
Click on your Internet browser to launch the program. Go to the driver website in the "References" section.
Locate the make and model of your Proview LCD monitor and click on the driver that corresponds with it.
Run the software package on your computer after it has downloaded to install your driver.
