How to Insert .Pdf Files Into Solidworks (4 Steps)
By Sharon Harp
The SolidWorks application is used to make models for architects, engineers and other designers. In addition to being a modeling program, SolidWorks also acts as a repository for information about the model, so it imports and stores other file formats, such as PDF, for quick viewing inside of the program.
Step 1
Open SolidWorks.
Step 2
Click "File," then "Open" and select your SolidWorks program file.
Step 3
Click "File," click the "Import" button and then click the "Documents" button to open a new window where you can select the PDF file to import.
Step 4
Select the desired PDF file from your computer and then click "Import Now."
