How to Insert Clapping Hands in an Email

By Rob Bethell

There are thousands of different types of images that can be placed into emails to express emotions. The most commonly used are yellow smiley faces that are integrated into programs such as Hotmail and Skype, making them easy to add into text or email. Animated forms of these emotion images are amusing alternatives to standard images in emails. These animations are especially popular in less formal forms of communication, including instant messaging functions on services such as Gmail and Facebook.

Navigate to a site where you can copy or download smiley face emotions from. These can be found at websites such as www.cool-smileys.com or www.webfetti.com.

Copy the clapping animation that you require. This can be done by highlighting the character on the screen and pressing ''CTRL'' and ''C'' at the same time.

Paste the clapping animation into an email by pressing ''CTRL'' and ''V'' into the desired location.
