How to Input Exponents in the Casio FX-260 Solar Fraction Calculator
By Mandy Slake
The Casio FX-260 is a solar-powered calculator suitable for general calculations. It does not require batteries, and comes with a slide-on hard case to protect the front keypad and screen when not in use. While the FX-260 is not as advanced as a scientific calculator, it is capable of calculating exponents. Exponents are the small numbers that indicate the power of a base number. For example, "4 x 4 x 4" can be written as "4^3."
Step 1
Type the base number using the keypad.
Step 2
Press the "EXP" button located on the bottom row of keys.
Step 3
Enter your exponents using the keypad.
