How to Import Audio from YouTube Videos in MP3 Mode (3 Steps)
By Chappy Sinclair
YouTube is an online video streaming website that, at the time of publishing, does not allow you to download audio from video separately. Many YouTube downloader websites allow you to download video or in some cases download only the audio from the video in MP3 format. If you are not given the option to download only the audio, you can use a free conversion program to convert the video into MP3 format.
Open a Web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. Open the YouTube video that has the audio you want to save. Right-click the address bar and click "Copy."
Go to a YouTube downloader website, such as SaveTube.com or KeepVid.com. Right-click the download bar and click "Paste." Select the "Download" or similarly titled button. If the option to download the video in MP3 format is available, click the "MP3" or similarly titled button. If the option is not available, save the file as an FLV file to the desktop.
Download and install a video conversion program, such as Any Video Converter or WM Converter. Drag-and-drop the FLV file into the center window of the program. In the Profile or Conversion Format window, click "MP3." Click "Convert" to begin converting the FLV to MP3 format. Select the "Output Folder" button to access the MP3 file.
