How to Find the ID/ESN Number on a Built-In Sirius Satellite Radio
By Nick Davis
Like other electronic devices, your built-in SIRIUS satellite radio contains a 12-digit identifying serial number, known as the ID/ESN number, that is unique to your specific radio. You'll need to know the ID/ESN number when you activate your SIRIUS satellite radio subscription. The number cannot be changed and once your radio is turned on, the number identifies your radio within the SIRIUS satellite system. Once you have accessed your radio's ID/ESN number, you need to record the number on the SIRIUS radio's owner's manual or on documentation related to the radio.
Step 1
Turn on your SIRIUS radio, if it is off. Press the "SRC" button.
Step 2
Select the "SIRIUS" display option.
Step 3
Press the "Menu" button for one second until the wording "Menu" appears.
Step 4
Press the "Audio" knob. Your SIRIUS radio's ID/ESN Number will appear on the screen. Write down the number for future reference.
Step 5
Press the "Menu" button for one second to exit the Menu mode.
