How to View Recently Ended Items on eBay

By Joshua Phillips

If you make a living selling items on eBay or simply want to sell a few unneeded business goods, then you need to take the necessary steps to ensure you will get the best deal for the goods you will post for sale. EBay enables you to search for items that recently ended so you can see what other eBay users are paying for the item you want to sell. The site offers two different methods to search recently ended items: by filtering through all ended auctions or just searching the items that sold. By default, eBay displays ended auctions in order of most recent to oldest.

Click the "Advanced" link to the right of the search bar on any eBay page.

Type the keywords of the item in the Enter Keywords field.

Click the "Completed Listings" box in the Search Including category.

Click "Search" to view the recently ended items, which includes both items that sold and unsold items. Click "Sold Listings" at the top of the results to view only sold items.

Tips

You can also search for recently ended items by typing the name of the item into the search bar and clicking either "Completed Listings" or "Sold Listings" at the top of the results. By default, eBay displays the recently ended items first.
