SanDisk USB drives can serve a seemingly unlimited amount of uses. They are quick, portable, require no maintenance and generally have a long lifespan. Due to their portability and affordability, they are great to use for storing photos and taking them with you for sharing with friends and family. If you want to move your photos from your camera to your SanDisk flash drive, you can easily accomplish this using your Windows operating system.

Connect the SanDisk USB flash drive to an available USB port on your computer.

Click “Start” and click “Computer.” This opens a new window displaying your current drives. You should notice one of the drives is “Removable Drive.” Note the drive letter of this drive.

Connect your camera’s USB cable to an available USB port and turn it on. Allow a few moments for Windows to detect the device and load the photo transfer wizard.

Click “Import Pictures and Videos using Windows.” This loads an Import Pictures and Videos dialog box.

Click “Import Settings.” This loads a new dialog with various import-related settings.

Click the “Browse” button next to “Import to” and choose the drive letter for your SanDisk USB flash drive (from Step 2).

Click the “OK” button at the bottom. This takes you back to the "Import Pictures and Videos" dialog.

Click “Import” to move the photos to the flash drive.

Disconnect your camera once transfer has completed.
