How to Update Outlook Web Access

Microsoft's Outlook Web Access enables you to check your company email wherever you have Web access. Unlike the standalone Microsoft Outlook application that you might use at your office, Outlook Web Access may not auto-refresh as frequently as the computer-based app. Updating Outlook Web Access ensures that you have access to all of your most recent email and contact information.

Log in to Outlook Web access (see Resources). Your company may have alternative methods for you to access Microsoft Exchange.

Click the "Check Messages" icon -- shaped like two arrows positioned in a circle -- to update messages.

Press the "F5" button to refresh and update the page. Click "Continue" if prompted to confirm the form resubmission. Pressing the "F5" button will reload all content on the page while updating displayed messages.
