How to Turn Off AdBlock on Firefox
By Kefa Olang
In Firefox, some websites will not launch or load properly if Adblock, a browser add-on used to block ads, is turned on. Although Adblock blocks annoying advertisements that open additional browsing windows when you visit certain sites, it may also block windows such as pop-up tutorials and videos that can be useful for further information and developing business skills.
Using the Add-on Manager
Click the "Tools" menu and click "Add-ons" to launch the Add-on Manager.
Click the "Extensions" tab to view installed add-ons. Scroll down the list and click the "Disable" button next to Adblock to turn off the ad blocker.
Relaunch Firefox for the changes to take effect.
Using Adblock Options
Locate the red Adblock icon on the Firefox toolbar and click it. A new menu opens.
Scroll down the menu and click "Disable on this page only" to turn off blocking on the page you're viewing.
Click "Disable everywhere" to turn off Adblock on every page.
Warnings
Disabling Adblock may cause unlawful websites to launch additional browsing windows to install malware such as Trojans. This is especially common with sites that promote fake security programs.
