How to Transfer a Google Adsense Account
By Richard Bashara
Google does not include a process to directly transfer your AdSense account to a separate owner, but there are several manual steps you can take to complete the process. You can change the email address and password on your Google AdSense account, thus transferring it from one Google account to another. You will need to change all of your personal information to reflect this change, including your password. Be careful if you are transferring the account to a third party, as sensitive information is contained within your profile.
Edit the email address on your Google Account by visiting the Google Accounts page. You can change this email address as you need, and it will affect how you log in to Google AdSense.
Log in to your AdSense account and change your payment and personal information to that of the new owner. Click “Settings” from the “Home” tab. Under Account Information, click “edit address” and make the changes to your payment information. Change this information before proceeding so that you can protect your bank account and other sensitive data that may be available through your profile.
Locate “Access and Authorization,” then enter the email address of the user you want to grant administrative privileges to under “Users with Sign-in access.” Click “Invite” when you are finished and the user’s status will change to “Pending.” When the user has accepted your email invitation, their “Pending” status will disappear.
Click the gray “X” next to the account that you want to remove, and there should only be one administrator left on your AdSense account, thus completing the account transfer.
