How to Tag a Full Album in Facebook
By Ryan Menezes
Facebook lets you tag two types of information in photos--locations and contact names. Locations state each photo's setting, while contact names list who appears in each photo, and you can add these tags to the full album in addition to individual pictures. Location tags apply to full albums whose photos all depict a single place, and you can tag contacts through album descriptions even if they appear in no specific photo. This latter option particularly helps businesses that market through Facebook albums because it provides a channel for you to reach contacts who would otherwise not view your album.
Navigate to your Facebook profile or business page and click your album to open it.
Click the icon of a pencil next to the album's description to edit it.
Type a name in the description box to open a drop-down list of contacts. Click a contact to tag the album and then click "Save."
Click "Edit Album."
Type a location's name into the album's location box and click a location from the drop-down search results.
Click "Done."
Tips
Type "@" before the name if no drop-down menu otherwise opens.
