How to Sync Notes Between an iPad & an Android
By Ruri Ranbe
The iPad uses iTunes to synchronize data with your computer, but the tablet features no such solution for Android. You can, however, set up both devices to sync with your Gmail account so that all of your business notes are simultaneously synced with the iPad and the Android. First, add your Gmail account to your iPad to copy any existing notes to Gmail. You can then install Gnotes to your Android and configure the app to download the data you just uploaded to your account.
Touch "Settings" from the Home screen on your iPad, select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" from the menu and then touch "Add Account."
Select "Gmail" and then enter your name, email address and password into the appropriate fields. Tap "Next."
Toggle "Mail" and "Calendars to "Off," and toggle "Notes" to "On." Tap "Save."
Download and install Gnotes from the Play Store on your Android device. Open the app when installation completes.
Touch "Setup" on the bottom of the screen, select "Email" on the Set Account page and then tap "Grant."
Enter your account information into the "Email" and "Password" fields and then touch "Sign In" to log in to Gmail.
Touch "Accept" to permit Gnotes to access your mail and then touch "Done."
Press the "Menu" key and then select "Sync" from the pop-up menu to download the notes to your device.
