Facebook lets you share documents such as Excel spreadsheets using the Files function of Facebook groups. Unlike your business page, and unlike your personal profile, Facebook groups cater to small circles of people who communicate for a specific purpose, so a Facebook group can act as a channel for sharing a spreadsheet with one particular team within your company. Others in the team can download the spreadsheet from the group page and upload a revised version if necessary.

Click "Create Group" in the Facebook homepage's sidebar to open the Create New Group dialog box.

Type a title for the group in the box labeled "Group Name." Type the names of contacts with whom you will share the spreadsheet in the box labeled "Members."

Click "Create" to load the group's page.

Click "Upload File" below the group's navigation bar and click "Choose File" to launch the Open dialog box.

Navigate to and double-click your Excel file.

Type a description for the file in the box labeled "Say something about this file." For example, type "Here are the transaction figures needed for the chart."

Click "Upload."
