How to Send a PayPal Link for Payment
By C. Taylor
PayPal enables businesses to request money directly from a customer by sending a link to his email address. When followed, this link enables the customer to pay the designated amount with his PayPal account. If the customer doesn't have a PayPal account, he can create an account or pay by credit card. You can choose to send a simple payment request or create a detailed invoice. Both options accomplish the same goal, but the invoice provides more information.
Log in to your PayPal account.
Click the "Request Money" tab.
Click "Request Money" or "Create an Invoice."
Fill in the information in the subsequent page. Simple requests only require the customer's email address, amount and if the payment is for a product or service. An invoice includes email address, itemized list, due date, shipping fees, notes, memo, terms and invoice number.
Click "Continue" and review the information you provided.
Click "Request Money" or "Send."
PayPal may charge a fee when collecting money for products or services.
