How to Reset a Zebra Printer to DHCP
By Ruri Ranbe
A network printer requires an IP address to communicate with other devices; the IP address identifies the printer and tells workstations where to find it. Businesses that use one or more Zebra printers can use an associated print server to manage and control the device or devices; organizations that utilize dynamic host configuration protocol can enable DHCP on the print server to enable connected printers to automatically retrieve an IP address.
Click "Start | All Programs | ZebraNet Utilities | ZebraNet View."
Select "PrintServer" and then "Configuration" to open the Print Server Configuration window.
Select the "TCP/IP" tab and then choose "Use Network Protocol."
Select "DHCP" and then click "OK."
