How to Resend an Event on Facebook
By Melissa King
Facebook enables you to invite your business associates to a variety of events, such as an employee luncheon, meeting or seminar. Once you've sent event information to your Facebook contacts, they can either accept or decline the invitation. Some people, however, may not respond to the invitation at all. If your event will occur soon and you want more people to join, resend your invitation to give them a reminder.
Click "Events" on the left side of the Facebook homepage, then click the event you want to resend.
Click "Invite Friends" on the event page to view a list of people you've invited to the event.
Click the check box next to the name of each person you want to remind about the event.
Click the "Submit" button to send the selected people a reminder invitation.
Tips
You can add hosts to help you manage your event. To add a host, go to the event page and click "Edit," then enter a name in the Host field.
If you want to cancel an event, click the gear icon on the event page, then click "Cancel Event." Facebook automatically sends a cancellation notice to everyone you invited.
