How to Reprint a Batch Report on a Credit Card Machine
By Jeff Grundy
A 2012 survey conducted by MasterCard shows that nearly three in four Americans use less cash than they did 10 years ago and use debit or credit cards to pay for most purchases. If your business accepts debit and credit cards, you must close the batch daily in order to finalize the payments and have them deposited to your bank account. When you close or settle the batch, most credit card machines print a batch report automatically. If you need two or more copies of the report, though, you can reprint the last settled batch.
Hypercom T7 and Optimum T4100
Press the "Clear" button to display "SWIPE CUSTOMER CARD" on the display.
Press the "[REPORT]" button.
Press "3" on the keypad to print a detailed report for all transactions in the last batch. Alternatively, press "4" for a summary report that lists sales by card type only.
VeriFone VX-670 Series
Press the "Cancel" key to display the main menu on the display.
Press the "F2" key to select Reports. Use the keypad to enter your password, and then press "Enter." If you did not change the default password, enter "123456."
Press "F3" to select the Z-Report. Wait a few seconds for the terminal to scan the batch and print the summary report.

Press the "X" key four times to exit.
VeriFone Tranz 330, 380, 420 & 460 (Latest Batch)
Press the "Clear" button to display the "SWIPE CUSTOMER CARD" message.
Press the "5" key.
Press the "2" key two times.
Press the "1" key to view the latest batch. Press "2" to print a summary report for the latest batch. Press "Clear" to exit.
VeriFone Tranz 330, 380, 420 & 460 (Previously Closed Batch)
Press "Clear" on the keypad.
Press the "5" key, and then press "2" three times.
Press the "*" key until the date and total for the settled batch you want to print appears on the display screen. Press "2" to print the report for the selected batch. Press "Clear" to exit.
Most credit card machines only store the last settled batch in memory. Terminals that do store several batch reports typically only store ones for the last 10 to 30 days, depending on the software and firmware used on the machine and the protocols implemented by the processing bank. Therefore, if you need several copies of batch reports, you should print them when you settle your transactions on the machine.
