How to Remove the Paper Drawer on a Bizhub C350
By B. Steele
Konica Minolta’s Bizhub C350 is a multifunction printing solution for businesses, offering scanning, copying, printing and fax capabilities in one unit. Occasionally, you might need to remove the drawers to clear a paper jam or service the printer. If you are having issues removing the drawers, you've probably noticed that they won't simply pull out. Instead, the drawers slide into the printer on rails and they're held in place with a locking mechanism.
Remove all paper from the tray.
Slide out the drawer as far as possible.
Remove the single Phillips screw from the metal stopper to the right of the drawer if you are removing Tray 2. Remove the stopper and set it aside.
Press the side locks on either side of the tray and pull the drawer out in the same motion. The side locks are located on the drawer rails on each side.
Warnings
If you are removing the drawers to clear a paper jam, only remove the paper yourself if you are sure that you can remove the entire sheet in one piece. Leaving bits of torn paper in the printer mechanism can block paper-tracking sensors and cause further jams.
