How to Permanently Delete Watched YouTube Videos
By Jason Spidle
YouTube videos you view on YouTube or that are embedded on other websites are automatically saved to your YouTube viewing history when you are logged in to your YouTube account. This feature is useful for finding videos you watched in the past, but it can also become needlessly revealing, particularly if you are watching videos during downtime at work. Using the YouTube video manager, you can permanently delete watched videos from your history individually, clear your entire history or pause the viewing history functionality.
Navigate to YouTube and sign in to your account.
Click your username and select "Video Manager."
Select "History" from the playlist sidebar.
Click the check box beside the video or videos you want to permanently delete from your history and click the "Remove" button.
Click "Clear All Viewing History" to delete all videos from your history.
Click "Pause Viewing History" if you would prefer that the videos you watch are not saved to the history playlist.
