If you created a secret business Facebook group for sharing content with employees, colleagues or other business contacts, then the group won't appear in Facebook search results or in the results of the external search engines that crawl and index Facebook content. If you want to make your business Facebook group publicly available so that it appears in search results, change the group's privacy setting from the "Secret" option to either "Closed" or "Open." Before changing the group's privacy status, ensure you understand the difference between closed and open Facebook groups. Closed groups appear in Facebook search results, but only registered group members can view or add content. Open groups also appear in search results, but anyone can view the group's content.

Sign in to your Facebook account.

Select the group from the Groups section in the left panel of your homepage.

Click the gear icon that represents the settings menu on the top right of the group page.

Select "Edit Group Settings" from the pull-down menu.

Click to select the "Open" or "Closed" button in the Privacy section toward the top of the screen.

Click the "Save" button to implement your group privacy setting.
