How to Log Into a T-Mobile Router
By C. Taylor
Your T-Mobile router allows you to network several computers together to create an intranet, as well as to share Internet access among the computers. A T-Mobile router may be wired or wireless. Log into the router to get access to advanced features like setting up wireless encryption or assigning static IP addresses to individual computers.
Turn on the router. Attach an Ethernet cable from one of the "Out" ports on the router to the Ethernet port on your computer. An Ethernet port looks like a large telephone jack; use this connection for setup even if you have a wireless router. Wait a couple of minutes for your computer to recognize the connection.
Open a new window or tab in your Web browser. Type "http://192.168.0.1" (without quotes) into the browser's address bar and press "Enter." A login window will appear. If the login window doesn't open, type in "http://192.168.24.1" instead.
Type "admin" into the "Password" field. Leave the "User name" field blank. Click "OK." If you previously changed the password, use that password instead. The router's setup window will open, indicating that you have successfully logged into your T-Mobile router.
