How to Integrate AOL Mail With GMail
By Nathan McGinty
Google Gmail offers small business owners a powerful and flexible way to combine and streamline their office communications. Using the built-in messaging options, you can combine emails from disparate providers, such as AOL, and integrate them into your company-wide Gmail account. In order to do this though, you'll need your username and password to your AOL account in order to integrate.
Log in to Gmail with your user name and password.
Click the gear icon on your Gmail home page. Select "Settings" from the drop down menu.
Select "Accounts and Import."
Locate the "Send mail as" section and click the "Add another email address you own" link.
Enter your AOL email address. Click "Next Step."
Click the "Send through Gmail (easier to set up)" radio button and click "Next."
Click the "Send verification" button.
Open another web browser or browser tab. Check your AOL email. Look for a message from Gmail and note the verification code inside.
Enter the verification code in the Gmail dialog box and click "Verify," or click the link in the email to have the code automatically confirmed.
