How to Hide & Unhide a Post on Facebook
By Laura Gittins
If you advertise your business's products or services on Facebook, you may sometimes want to temporarily remove a post from your page and then bring it back later. Facebook has a convenient and simple way to hide and unhide posts. When hidden, visitors to your page will not be able to see the post in your timeline. However, if the post contained an image that you've uploaded, that image will still be viewable in your photo albums.
Hiding a Post
Open your Facebook page. Hover the mouse over the post to make the pencil icon appear in the top right corner.
Click the pencil icon to make a drop-down menu appear.
Click the "Hide from Timeline" option to hide the post.
Unhiding a Post
Open your Facebook page. Click the "Activity Log" button found in the upper-right corner of the timeline on your profile page.
Search through the list of posts and other activity and find the post you would like to unhide.
Click the icon that shows the circle with the slash through it to make a drop-down menu appear. Click "Allowed on Timeline" to unhide the post.
