How to Get Rid of the Space Between Posts on Tumblr With HTML
By Ryan Menezes
Updated April 09, 2018
Your Tumblr blog automatically pads your posts by inserting space between them. This space separate the posts, helping your readers distinguish them from one another, but they may not suit your particular blog's design. For example, if each post ends with a footer containing information about your company, this footer may separate the posts sufficiently, removing the need for the additional space. You can get rid of the unwanted space by editing your Tumblr theme's HTML code.
Open your Tumblr dashboard in your Web browser and click the gear icon in the navigation bar to open your settings page.
Click your blog's name and click "Customize" to edit your theme.
Type the following into the "Add Custom CSS" box:
#contents .post { margin-bottom:0px; }
Click "Save" to apply your edited HTML and remove the space between your blog's posts.
