How to Get Rid of Line Breaks in Outlook
By Ruri Ranbe
With Microsoft Outlook, you can send or receive your business email in plain text, HTML or rich text format. Unlike the HTML and RTF formats, which allow you to have complete control over the appearance of the message you're composing, you'll have only limited control over how a plain text message appears. Depending on the nature of your email, you may need to send messages that contain no line breaks. To prevent your recipients from receiving improperly formatted email, you can simply change Outlook's mail options.
Select "File" from the ribbon and choose "Options" from the menu to open Outlook Options.
Choose "Mail" from the left pane. Select "Remove Extra Line Breaks in Plain Text Messages" from under the Message Format section.
Click "OK" to apply your changes.
