How to Fast Forward on an Olympus Voice Recorder
By Melissa King
Your Olympus digital voice recorder enables you to take notes in meetings or record your thoughts when you're working in the office. Once you have created a recording, you can play it back on the voice recorder. While in playback mode, you have the option to rewind or fast forward to go directly to the part of the recording that you want to hear.
Power on the Olympus voice recorder and press the "Folder/Index" button.
Press the "Rewind" or "Fast Forward" button to highlight the file you want to play.
Press "Play/OK" to start playback. Press "+" or "-" to turn the volume up or down.
Hold down the "Fast Forward" button to quickly skip ahead through the recording. Release the button when you want to resume normal playback.
If you placed a temp mark or an index mark in a file, the recorder will stop fast forwarding at that point. Hold down the "Fast Forward" button again to continue fast forwarding.
