How to Export Google Site Posts & Import to WordPress
By G.S. Jackson
You and your business may not stay with a particular free hosting solution or blog server, but that is no reason to lose your content. Blogger's export feature lets you download an XML-formatted file of all your posted content. Since Blogger is the only way to create blog post content on Google (Google sites uses static pages that can link to your Blogger blog), this makes it easy to import this content directly into WordPress.
Log in to your Blogger account.
Click the drop-down menu next to the blog you want to export on the dashboard, and then click "Settings."
Click the "Other" link.
Click the "Export Blog" link, click "Download Blog," then click "Save File" and save the XML file to your computer.
Log in to your WordPress account.
Click the "Tools" item in the dashboard menu, then click "Import."
Select "Blogger " from the list.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click the "Browse" button next to the "Have a Blogger Export File?" text field. Navigate to the location of the XML file downloaded from Blogger in the File Open dialog and click the "Open" button.
Click the "Upload File and Import" button to upload the XML file and import the Blogger posts to your WordPress blog.
