How to Erase Tumblr Followers

If you created Tumblr blog for your business and dedicate valuable time to updating it frequently, you probably don't want your competition to steal your ideas or content. On Tumblr, you can't remove followers; your followers must stop following you on their own. However, you can ignore people to prevent them from viewing your posts on their Dashboard and contacting you. You can also report the users for spam or harassment when you block them. Although you still see them in the Followers list -- they are still following you -- ignored users can't interact with you in any way. Unfortunately, ignored users can still navigate to your blog and view your posts there.
Log in to your Tumblr account.
Click the Gear icon at the top of the page and then click "Account" in the navigation pane at the left.
Click the "Ignored Users" button at the bottom of the right pane to visit the Ignored Users page.
Enter the username or blog URL of the user that you wish to ignore in the appropriate field and then click the "Ignore" button.
Tips
You can click the "spam" or "harassment" link next to the ignored user, on the Ignored Users page, to report the user for spam or harassment. To stop ignoring specific users, click the "Stop Ignoring" button next to their names on the Ignored Users page.
