How to Erase SmartDraw Watermarks
By Diana Braun
SmartDraw is a diagramming and business graphics application that runs on Windows. The tool is a quick drawing tool that complements your word processing software, or works on its own. Create flowcharts, timelines, Gantt charts, organizational charts, floor plans and basic presentations using SmartDraw. A watermark appears on all documents created with the trial version of the software. To remove the mark, purchase the standard or professional, licensed version of SmartDraw.
Purchase a licensed copy of SmartDraw (full link in Resources).
Click "Start", "All Programs" and then "SmartDraw" from the list of applications. Alternately, if the application installs on your toolbar, click the icon for SmartDraw to launch it.
Click "File" and then "Open." Select the file you'd like to open from the list.
Click "File" and then "Save As." Provide a name for your document and click the "Save" button. The watermark is removed from all files saved using the licensed version of SmartDraw.
While you can also cover the watermark by adding an object and filling it, then moving it over the watermark, doing so doesn't remove the watermark. This method simply disguises it. Buy a licensed copy of the software for complete removal.
