How to Disable Shared Connections on LinkedIn
By Melly Parker
LinkedIn shows connections shared between connected individuals by default. You can prevent sharing connections by adjusting your settings so connections are only visible to you. If you're connected to both business clients and competitors, for example, it might behoove you to keep your connections private. Keep in mind that mutual connections are always visible to the people involved in them.
Log in to LinkedIn. Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu under your name.
Click "Select Who Can See Your Connections."
Choose "Only You" from the drop-down menu.
Click "Save Changes."
