How to Disable Content Filtering for Outlook
By Jay Darrington
Microsoft Outlook's Content Filter settings, also known as "Junk mail filters," help keep your email spam free, but the spam filters have a drawback. Some non-spam emails may be blocked, keeping you from ever seeing them. Disabling the filters will allow these emails to safely pass through to your inbox.
Click the "Home" tab in Outlook and then click on "Mail," "Junk" and then "Junk E-mail Options."
Click on the "Options" tab in the window that appears.
Click on the "No Automatic Filtering" option in the list on screen.
Click "OK" to save changes.
Tips
As an alternative, you may want to lower the protection to "Low," which is a very lenient content filter.
