Many people do not realize that a mobile phone can cause as much of a privacy concern as a computer. Windows Mobile phones include the Internet Explorer web browser, which maintains a history of your visited pages exactly as the desktop version of the program does. In the event your phone is lost or stolen this could result in the release of sensitive information. Delete the browsing history on your Windows Mobile phone to prevent a breach of privacy from occurring.
Launch Internet Explorer on your Windows Mobile device. Tap "Menu," "Tools" then "Options."
Tap the "Memory" tab.
Tap the "Clear History" button to delete the browser history.
Tap the "Delete Files" button to delete any cached content saved on the device.
Tap the "Security" tab, then tap "Clear Cookies" to delete the cookies saved on the device.
Consider reducing the number of days that your browsing history is saved by using the arrow buttons on the same screen where the browsing history is deleted. The number of days can be as low as "0," which causes the browsing history to be cleared each time Internet Explorer Mobile is closed.
