How to Delete Addresses on the Map App for iPhone
By Daniel Hatter
The Maps app on the iPhone stores your search history by default, including the addresses you've searched for and the addresses you've navigated to. When you search for a new address, the app will try to automatically populate the search field if the address is similar to any you've searched for before. To fix this, delete the Maps app history. This clears all the addresses from the app, giving you a clean slate. Deleting your Maps address history deletes all the addresses from the app. The app doesn't allow individual address deletion.
Tap the "Maps" app icon on your iPhone's Home screen to open it.
Touch the "Bookmarks" button in the menu bar of the Maps app.
Tap the "Recent Searches" option.
Touch the "Clear" button at the top left of the Recent Searches page to delete the address history.
Tap the "Back" button repeatedly until you are returned to the main page of the Maps app.
