How to Create Mutliple Gmail Accounts
By Naomi Bolton
Gmail is a free webmail service offered by Google that supports sending and receiving emails as well as chatting to other Gmail users. The 10GB of free storage offered by the service means you can store all your mails and attachments online. You can create multiple Gmail accounts for various purposes, for instance for business and personal use, or for online shopping to avoid having your preferred email sold to other advertisers. In the past, you could sign in to just one Gmail account at a time, but now, a multiple sign-in feature enables you to access more than one account in a single log-in session. Creating additional accounts is quick and easy.
Click your profile photo on the Gmail webpage if you are already signed in to your account and select "Sign out" to return to the log in page.
Click the "Create An Account" button and then enter the requested information.
Enter a username and password for the new account. If this is to be a business account, select a username representative of your business.
Complete the required information and end by typing the captcha code.
Click "ADD PROFILE PHOTO" if you wish to add a photo, and then select a photo from your computer to use on your profile. Click "Next step" to continue.
Click the "Continue to Gmail" button to access your new account.
Sign out of your account and repeat the process to create another account.
Gmail enables you to sign in to multiple accounts in the same browser session. Click your username at the top of the Gmail screen and then click "Add account." Enter the username and password of the other account and then click "Sign in" to sign in to multiple accounts. Once signed in, click your username at the top of the screen and then click on the name of the other account to switch to it without logging out.
Do not use multiple Gmail accounts to spam other users with unwanted emails. Google will terminate your account if you create false accounts for such purposes.
