Apple's iPod Shuffle is the smallest and lightest of the MP3 players on the market. Its 2GB storage capacity can hold enough music to get you through your workday, a workout or a long trip. Here's how to create your own Playlist and upload it to your iPod Shuffle.

Download iTunes to your computer and launch the software.

Make an empty playlist by clicking the "+" at the bottom of the left navigation panel. Give the playlist a name, such as "iPod Shuffle Playlist."

Click on "Music" at the top of the left navigation panel. This brings up your entire music library.

Select songs from the music library and drag them to the newly made playlist.

Plug your iPod Shuffle into your computer. Click on its name under "Devices" in the left navigation panel. Select "Manually manage music and videos" from the main iTunes window under the "Summary" tab. Click apply.

Drag and drop the new playlist onto the iPod's name. Eject the iPod from iTunes before disconnecting it.
