How to Change the Profile Photo for a Business in Google Maps
By Brandy Alexander
When your business is listed in Google Maps, your profile photo appears with the listing information next to the map. A good picture in this spot can help customers get a sense of what you do, enable people to instantly recognize you on the Web, and can help drive traffic to your website or building. If you find that your existing image needs an update or is no longer relevant, you can change it using your Google Business Places account.
Log in to your Google Business Places account and click the "Dashboard" tab. Scroll to the Your Businesses section to find your current listing.
Click "Edit" under your business name, and then click the "Remove" link below your existing picture.
Click "Add Photo" and select your new profile image from the File Upload window that opens. Click "OK" to continue.
Click "Add Photo" and then click "Submit" to finish changing your profile picture.
Tips
Your photo takes a few days to update on Google Maps.
