How to Change the Date on a Toshiba Computer

Set the correct date in Windows to avoid confusion.

Windows displays the current time and date in the corner of the screen so you can quickly determine the time or date without having to check your watch or ask someone. Having the wrong date displayed is not helpful and can cause confusion if you forget it is wrong. If your Toshiba computer displays the wrong date, you can quickly change the settings and set the correct date.

Right-click the date that is displayed on the right side of the Windows taskbar, then click "Adjust Date/Time." The Date and Time window opens.

Click "Change Date and Time."

Click the current date on the calendar, then click "OK." You can change months by clicking the left or right arrow at the top of the calendar.

Click "OK" to apply the date and exit the window.
