How to Access GPU BIOS
By Charles Poole
Updated February 09, 2017
The Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) is what displays graphics on a computer screen. The Basic Input Output System (BIOS) is a software program that controls the startup, shutdown and time on your computer. Control GPU settings with just a few keystrokes from within the BIOS.
Start your computer.
Watch the computer screen for the BIOS prompts. This looks something like “Press F10 to Enter BIOS” or something similar. (The exact key to press depends on your exact computer model.) Press the appropriate key to enter the BIOS.
Use your arrow keys to highlight the “Hardware” option at the top of your BIOS screen. Scroll down to find "GPU Settings." Press "Enter" to access GPU Settings. Make changes as you wish.
